I felt really in my groove with cooking this week. I can’t remember everything I made, but I did do pasta twice, which is when I had the revelation about mirin in my tomato sauce (early access recipe below). I made my spumoni upside-down cake (can’t wait to revisit once I get pistachio extract), and I made a taco salad last night with chipotle-orange chicken (early access recipe below).
