Happy Wednesday. Can you believe it’s October 1st? I can’t! I feel like I’m going to blink and it’ll be Christmas! For now, I have new recipes and reader faves to inspire your meals for the week.
It’s been a whirlwind the past few days, and I’m excited to have new recipes to share with you finally. I’ve been enjoying fruit in savory dishes, and my obsession with upside-down cakes continues.
I have two new recipes this week, both featuring autumnal fruit in different contexts. The first is a subtly sweet, super savory roasted chicken with fennel and pears. The Bartlett pears add a wonderful sweetness that complements the chicken and aromatic fennel perfectly. The second is my Apple Biscoff Upside-Down Cake. It took so many tries to get it right, but I’m so thrilled with the final product. It’s really a perfect fall cake! I know you and your family will love it.
