Midweek Meals
New recipe + parsnip love 🌞
Happy Wednesday. Today, I have a new recipe, reader faves, and a few of my favorite parsnip recipes from the archives.
Midweek Update
Over the weekend, I had my “quit my job” celebratory party! I mentioned in my last newsletter that I was planning on making beef bourguignon, bean cassoulet, and a Basque chicken stew. Everything turned out wonderfully! Though I think my Never Fail Rolls were the star of the show. I just barely had enough time to fling them into the oven before everyone arrived, and I’m glad I did. I made a double batch, and they were all inhaled by the end of the night. It helped that I served them with honey butter and garlic-herb butter, and they were just fantastic.
We also did the espresso martini cake flip, and it turned out so well! Everyone loved it. I’ll share my recipe again below.
For now, I have a new recipe that features parsnips, so I thought I’d tack on a few of my favorite parsnip recipes since we’re squarely in soup and stew season, and it’s one of my favorite root vegetables. I also have a few reader faves. Let’s dig in.
