Happy Sunday! It’s been a minute since my last email, but I’m back in business with two new recipes that I think you’ll love.
The first is a spicy shrimp linguine. If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I love using tomato paste as the star of broths and sauces, like this tomato paste broth with beans. In this shrimp linguine, tomato paste sings from start to finish. It’s fried with garlic, shallot, and plenty of crushed red pepper and simmered until it’s reduced and extra tomatoey.
For the shrimp, I seasoned it with a gorgeous blend from Some Daze called Zest All Around. If you don’t have this blend, fear not. You can use Aleppo pepper and sumac on the shrimp if you have them in your cabinet, or you can keep it simple with just extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, zest, and crushed red pepper.
The next recipe is for simple sweet chili pork meatballs. They’re fragrant, aromatic, and perfectly glazed with a glossy sweet chili sauce. They’re perfect served over fluffy white rice or on top of noodles.
Easy Shrimp Linguine
Shrimp pasta is one of my favorite meals, and this recipe leverages the concentrated flavor of tomato paste to make a tomato sauce that packs a punch.
Sweet Chili Meatballs
I love sweet and spicy meatballs, and these sweet chili meatballs are just the perfect amount of sweetness and spiciness. With plenty of aromatics, these meatballs are perfectly glazed and make for an irresistible dinner recipe that everyone loves.
The recipe readers are loving right now:
Potato-Leek Soup with Sage
People must be cozying up to soup season because my potato-leek soup with sage recipe has been making the rounds. This is one of my most popular soup recipes, so if you want a wholesome, comforting dinner to warm you up on a rainy fall night, this needs to be your go-to.
I hope you love these recipes. If you make anything from my newsletter or my website, make sure you drop me a note to let me know how it turned out. Happy cooking and I hope your week is filled with lots of tasty meals.
