Happy Sunday. Today, I have new recipes, reader faves, and a few āmost searchedā recipes to share with you.

Weekend Update
This weekend, I went to Petit Louis and had a great espresso martini! I also finally tried their roast chicken dinner, which I really enjoyed. I didnāt love that it came with French fries, and I wish Iād asked to substitute it with mashed potatoes instead. But I think I was just craving mashed potatoes. š
I also cooked a lot! I made an amazing chocolate-fig upside-down cake, and I finally, finally, FINALLY perfected my ube upside-down cake. I canāt wait to share the recipes with you.
I also started my very first test turkey of the season, and it is dry-brining as we speak. While I normally love an orange-maple glaze, Iām going to try out a pear-miso glaze. I canāt wait! Iām going to make a simple pear syrup and whisk it with white miso and baste the turkey with it toward the end of roasting. YUM.
Next week is my last week at my job. I canāt believe it. Iām so looking forward to having much more time to devote to cooking and recipe development.
For now, I have new recipes, reader faves, and a few from the archive to keep you cooking next week. Letās dig in.
