Happy Sunday. Today, I have a new (spooky!) upside-down cake to share with you and reader faves.
Weekend Update
I’m back in a busy stretch at work, so I’ve been a bit slower on the recipe development side, but I’m still cooking and baking up a storm! I’ve been working on this Black Sesame Upside-Down Cake for Halloween, and I’m finally thrilled enough with the recipe to share it with you!
I’m thinking about what I want to focus on cooking over the next few weeks. I see myself really leaning into autumn fruits as we’re in apple and pear season. Soon enough, citrus season will be upon us!
It’s hard to believe I’ve already got Thanksgiving Dinner ideas twirling around in my head. One idea I can’t shake is a pear and miso glaze for turkey or duck, so I’ll certainly be experimenting with that SOON.
For now, I have a new recipe and reader faves to inspire your meal plan for the week. I’ll also share a few of my autumnal favorites from the archives.
