Happy rainy Sunday. Today, I have a new recipe, reader faves, and a few from the archives to inspire your meal plans for the rest of the week.


Weekend Update
It was a busy weekend! Toward the end of the week, I made my spicy clam and tomato linguine (recipe below), and my parents visited yesterday! I’ve been a Marylander for nearly 10 years, but I’ve never had a crab feast in Maryland. The last time I cracked crabs was probably 20 years ago in Pennsylvania, and every summer that goes by, I wish I had just done one crab feast. I finally made it happen this year. We ordered Maryland steamed crabs, corn, steamed shrimp, and my dad made the best potato salad (I need to steal his recipe). Of course, we had matching shirts, “Don’t bother me, I’m crabby,” and we had a great afternoon cracking crabs.
My parents requested the Pineapple Ritz Cracker Upside-Down Cake, so I made that for dessert, and it was a perfect summer feast.
