Recipes for the week
New recipe + faves from the archives 🌞
Happy Sunday. Today, I have a new recipe plus a few from the archives to inspire your recipes next week

Weekend Update
Whew! What a week. Last week was a whirlwind, and it honestly feels like I’m busier being self-employed than I was when I worked full-time. It was my friend’s birthday on Thursday, so I made him a mini chocolate cake, and we had delicious Ethiopian food in DC. On Friday, I had my friends over for a chicken tender dinner. I made my Buffalo chicken tenders, lemon pepper chicken tenders, and harissa mac and cheese. I finished dinner with an attempt at a tiramisu upside-down cake. The recipe definitely needs some work, but it did taste good! I did buy a backup tiramisu from Vaccaro’s in Baltimore.
Next week, I’ll be making tasty food to take to the community fridge and working on lots of new recipes! For now, let’s get into some recipes to inspire your meal plans for the rest of the week.
NEW RECIPE
Cherry Garcia Upside-Down Cake
Inspired by my favorite Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, this Cherry Garcia upside-down cake combines a stracciatella cake batter with jarred cherries and an irresistible maraschino cherry whipped mascarpone.
