Recipes for the week
New recipe + reader faves + Thanksgiving ideas 🌞
Happy Sunday. Today, I have a new recipe, reader faves, and a few ideas to help get the gears turning for Thanksgiving.

Weekend Update
This weekend was so busy! It was my friend’s birthday, and I helped plan a busy day of activities for Saturday. We started with facials in the morning and then went to a Boozy Afternoon Tea event at The Pendry in Baltimore. It was amazing! After that, one of the girls in the group suggested duckpin bowling, which was so much fun! We ended the birthday celebration with drinks and dinner. It was a very full day of self-care, good food, good (and strong, lol) drinks, and good vibes.
Today, I am definitely still in recovery mode from the espresso martinis, but I am cooking a Cajun-spiced turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, and roasted vegetables to test new Thanksgiving recipes.
I will be sharing a new cranberry-orange upside-down cake in Wednesday’s newsletter. I was hoping to share it today, but I think I’m going to make it one more time before I share it. For now, let’s get into a new recipe, reader faves, and a few ideas for Thanksgiving.
NEW RECIPE
White Bean Cassoulet
I made this for a party recently, and it was such a big hit that I tested it as a new recipe for the website. My neighbor (who had it at the party) loved it so much she made it herself just recently. Such a comforting meal for winter.
READER FAVES
Spicy Ginger and Sweet Potato Soup
Thank you for the comment, Hali! Happy that this was enjoyed by both you and your partner. And honestly, having the broth reduce so much was probably a gift in disguise since it was probably SO rich and delicious. YUM!
Sweet and Spicy Creamed Corn
Thank you so much for the comment, H’s Kitchen! It’s such a great side dish with just the right amount of sweet, heat, and richness!
