Happy Saturday. I hope you’re having a great weekend. I’m here with a few new recipes, a few reader favorites, and my little weekend update.
Today is World Pilates Day! If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you know I have become passionate about Pilates over the past eight or nine months. I’ve had a lot of fun learning how to improve my form and practice, and it has become a really calming anchor in my life. This weekend, I spent time celebrating World Pilates Day by doing a flow with one of my favorite instructors and by helping another instructor get her training hours on a really wild machine called THE CADILLAC. I did get to live out my childhood ballerina dreams with some of the moves, so that was a weekend highlight for me.
It was really fun today, but now I’m ready to settle back into my food routine with new recipes and by sharing a few reader favorites with you.
New Recipes
Reverse-Seared “London Broil”:
I am embarrassed to admit that I always thought London Broil was a cut, not a method of cooking. If you’ve found yourself with a lean cut of beef–like top sirloin steak or top-round steak–and you want to try your hand at reverse-searing it, this is the recipe for you. I actually have another top sirloin marinating in my refrigerator right now, so I’ll be sharing my true London Broil recipe soon. For now, this reverse-seared method for a thick cut of lean beef is one you want to memorize. It makes for perfectly cooked steak every single time and it comes in clutch when you need to feed a crowd.
Chicken and Chickpea Wrap
Mashing chickpeas into the ground chicken mixture keeps the meat from falling out of your wrap. The mixture is well-seasoned with oregano, dill, and lots of lemon juice. It’s perfect for a quick meal later this week.
Easy Zucchini and Farro

Chili Crisp Shrimp and Green Beans
Thank you so much for your comment, Bonnie! I’m so happy you enjoyed this recipe as much as I did.
Rotisserie Chicken Soup
Thank you, Kimberly! I absolutely love the substitution idea here–I bet that tasted amazing! This soup is one you want to keep on regular rotation for those quick mid-week dinners when you just want to chuck everything in a pot and let ‘er rip!
I think that about covers it for this weekend. I hope you all have an amazing week ahead filled with lots of tasty food. If you make one of my recipes, please drop a comment to let me know how it turns out. I’d love to hear from you and happy cooking! Byeeeeeeeee! 💖 💖
