Midweek Meals
New recipe + reader faves 🌞
Happy Wednesday. Today, I have a new recipe plus a few reader faves to inspire your recipes for the week.
Midweek Update
Not too much to report this week so far! Last night, I had a fun happy hour with my friend at Sisu in Baltimore. I absolutely love their espresso martinis, and we shared a big plate of cured meat and lots of cheese.
I also had fun making the little video above with my Cherry Garcia Upside-Down Cake. Why not romanticize a cake when it’s that cute and pink?! I’ll be making it for my Galentine’s Day party later in February, and I’m so excited.
Today, I’ll be attempting a second crack at my tiramisu upside-down cake and reshooting my baked sun-dried tomato chicken!
For now, let’s get into some recipes to keep you cooking the rest of the week.
NEW RECIPE
Spicy White Beans with Capers
Looking to eat more plant-based meals this year? Start with these spicy white beans with capers! Briny, salty, and perfect with a big slice of crusty bread.
READER FAVES
Orange-Maple Roast Duck
Thank you so much, Janeleslie! I’m so happy this was a winner for your Thanksgiving dinner!
Cherry Garcia Upside-Down Cake
This comes from Jess on Instagram, who already made the Cherry Garcia Upside-Down Cake! I agree with her daughter; cake for breakfast is the best!
Ricotta Beef Meatballs with Orzo
…or with rigatoni, as Megan did! I’m thrilled you enjoyed the meatballs! Served as a thick sauce over rigatoni sounds perfect!
Easy Pork Chop Dinner
Thank you so much for the 5-star review! This low-effort, big-flavor meal is one you’ll want in the regular rotation!
Aleppo Pepper Shrimp with Creamed Corn
This comment comes from Molly on Instagram! Thank you so much for sharing, and I’m so happy you love this fragrant, spicy shrimp as much as I do!
Creamy White Bean Soup with Sausage
This comes from a commenter on Reddit! So happy they were able to modify this yummy soup to be plant-based and still taste delicious! Whether you use meat or plant sausage, you’ll love this spicy, smoky, rich bowl of comfort.
Tomato-Basil Pearled Couscous
Thank you so much, Deb! I’m glad you (and Angie!) loved this flavorful vegetarian dinner!
That’s all for Midweek Meals! I hope everyone has a great rest of the week, filled with lots of tasty food. If you make one of my recipes, please drop a comment on the post to let me know how it turns out; I’d love to hear from you! You can also respond directly to this email! Byeeeeeeee! 💖💖
