Midweek Meals
New recipes + reader faves 🌞
Happy Wednesday. Today, I have new recipes and reader faves to share with you.
Midweek Update
I can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week already! I’m excited to share a few new Thanksgiving dishes and a few non-Thanksgiving dishes today. It’s been a busy week of cooking. I’ve been testing my cranberry-orange upside-down cake and my maple-walnut pumpkin upside-down cake in addition to new stuffings and potato recipes galore.
I’m definitely getting more into the swing of Tried & True as my full-time job, and I’m having so much fun being able to dedicate more time to recipe development.
For now, let’s get into recipes to keep you cooking the rest of the week.
NEW RECIPES
Cranberry-Orange Upside-Down Cake
Everyone has been asking for this, and I’m so happy that it’s finally good enough to share! Sweet-tart cranberries, a moist orange-almond cake, and the most irresistible rosemary whipped cream make this a perfect dessert to serve at your Thanksgiving table this year.
Pear-Pancetta Stuffing
A rich pear-pancetta stuffing is the sweet, salty, ultra-savory side that pairs perfectly with roasted turkey or chicken.
Chicken and Fennel Pappardelle
Aromatic fennel, acidic dry vermouth, and lots of Parmigiano-Reggiano give this chicken and fennel pappardelle a complex flavor profile.

Cream of Mushroom Soup
Thank you for the message, Erica! This cream of mushroom soup is perfect for homemade green bean casserole or eaten on its own. The smoky mushrooms really take it over the top!
Roasted Cod with Balsamic Butter
Thank you so much for the comment and 5-star review! So happy you enjoyed this. I absolutely love the sweet, tangy, buttery balsamic butter sauce on flaky cod. Just perfection!
Gochujang Beef and Broccoli
Thank you for the 5-star review! I love this gochujang beef and broccoli bowl for a quick weeknight dinner recipe. It’s a little spicy, super savory, and really filling.
Apple Biscoff Upside-Down Cake
This little cake continues to impress! Lane, from Instagram, just sent me a video of her flipping it for herself, and it was absolutely stunning! This would also make a great addition to the Thanksgiving dessert table. And you can wow your guests with a cake flip!
