Happy Wednesday. Today, I have lots of delicious things to share with you!
I was particularly productive over Labor Day Weekend, so I have lots of things to share today. New recipes, revisited recipes, a few reader faves, some football faves. All the things. Let’s dig in.
REVISITED RECIPE
Shrimp and Tomatillo Corn Chowder
In the photo above, I’m holding a BIG pot of my shrimp and tomatillo corn chowder. I developed this recipe years ago, and it’s just as good today! I made a few tweaks to get even more flavor out of this incredible chowder, and I think you’ll love it as much as I did.
Banana Nut Chocolate Upside-Down Cake
So happy that this recipe has been well-received by readers, like Erin and Erica (from Instagram!). Thrilled you both enjoyed it, and vanilla ice cream is such a good idea with this cake! YUM!
Harissa Chickpeas with Sweet Potatoes
Woohoo! Thank you for the comment. It’s the best feeling when everyone asks for the recipe. So happy everyone enjoyed it!
White Peach Lemon-Ricotta Tart
Allison responded to the newsletter with a photo and praise of this tart! Thank you so, so much for the kind words!!! I’m so happy you love receiving this newsletter as much as I love sending it! I love inspiring your meal plans for the week!! Make the best of the fleeting peach season with this lemon-ricotta tart. Such a wonderful way to celebrate the last peaches of summer!
NEW RECIPES
Breaded Air Fryer Chicken Thighs
Perfect for your next chicken sandwich, these chicken thighs are crispy, juicy, and so flavorful.
Arugula-Plum Salad
Whether you use plums, plumcots, nectarines, or peaches, this arugula salad with a sweet and tangy poppy seed vinaigrette is the perfect vehicle for them. This salad delivers sweetness, crunchiness, pepperiness, and the lovely brightness from the vinaigrette. Such a perfect salad!
TWO MORE FOR THE WEEK 🏈
Buffalo Chicken Tenders
Football starts tomorrow, which means my diet will consist of 50% Buffalo sauce until February. Ring in the season with my fried Buffalo chicken tenders or make the air fryer version!
Easy Baked Crab Balls
And because the Ravens are playing this weekend, I have to make my crab balls! This recipe has been a reader favorite since last year, and it’s perfect for any game day snack table, no matter who you’re rooting for!
NEW VEGAN RECIPE
Vegan Pumpkin-Poblano Corn Chowder
If you’ve been following for a while, you know I have a vegan website as well (you can subscribe at !). I just shared an amazing late summer, kind of autumnal vegan chowder that is so perfect for the season change. It’s spicy and lightly sweet from canned pumpkin. YUM!
That’s all for Midweek Meals! I hope everyone has a great week ahead filled with lots of tasty food. If you make one of my recipes, please drop a comment on the post to let me know how it turns out; I’d love to hear from you! You can also respond directly to this email! Byeeeeeeee! 💖💖
