Happy Sunday. Today, I have a new recipe, reader faves, and a few more ideas from the archives to inspire your meals for the week.

Weekend Update
This weekend was so wonderful! I went out to eat on Friday at Cinghiale; I enjoyed the braised boar and cacio e pepe. On Saturday, I went out to sushi with a few friends at Sushi Bruce in Fells Point. I loved the tuna nigiri, crispy calamari, and the eel nigiri! Afterward, we did a candle-making class at Amicasa. I named my candle Big Red because I somehow recreated the scent of the gum almost exactly!
Today, I’m just relaxing and thinking about my meal plan for the week. Here’s what I came up with on Friday:
Tonight, I’ll be making a sirloin steak with baked potatoes, and later in the week, I’m excited to reshoot my Ricotta and Pork Meatball Soup recipe.
Today, I’m also excited to share my recipe for my Spumoni Upside-Down Cake. It’s been very, very requested, so I’m sharing it today. I’m going to be updating the recipe next week to include whipped mascarpone, but this cake is delicious as-is, so no need to hold on to the recipe forever. I hope you love it as much as I did!
Let’s get into the recipes for the week!
