Happy Sunday! I hope you’re all having a relaxing Labor Day weekend. If you’re cooking out tomorrow, make sure you make my dad’s hot dog sauce for your dogs! You won’t regret it.

I have a new recipe for you and a few of my favorite summer-to-fall transition dinners. If you’re not ready to let go of summer but aren’t quite ready to throw yourself fully into PSL mode, you’ll want to start with my recipes.

One more thing: this week, I’ll be in your inbox with September’s meal plan! You’re going to love it. I have gorgeous recipes for the beauties below…tomato-tofu udon, steak with Shaoxing wine mushrooms, and even more yummy meals!

Shrimp and Vegetable Curry:

A few months ago, I did an interview for Real Simple on meal planning, and I mentioned how much I love dump recipes. These are the meals you make when all the stuff is going bad in your refrigerator at the same time. This shrimp and vegetable curry is just that: a perfect vessel for all the wilty veggies in your crisper. In the post below, I tell you how I made it and give you plenty of ideas for alternate ingredients so you can use up that random eggplant you decided to buy when you had no recipes in mind for it.
