Recipes for the Week
Reader faves + comfort food from the archives 🌞
Happy Sunday. Today, I have a few reader faves plus cozy comfort recipes from the archives to inspire your dinner plans for this upcoming bitterly cold week.

Weekend Update
This weekend, we went back to Philly for our pizza > coffee > sushi circuit. We’ve done this multiple times now (we’re creatures of habit), and it hits all my favorite food groups in one day.
We start at Pitruco for a very good margherita pizza and an amazing seasonal Caesar salad. Their Caesar isn’t traditional, but I love the addition of endives, grilled pears and onions, and shaved fennel. Then, we go to Persimmon for coffee. I’ve been enjoying their winter latte, which has rosemary and cranberry in it. Lastly, we finish at Uchi, which is presently my favorite sushi place. Their happy hour prices are really good and allow you to try so many different things! I can’t even remember everything we got, but we stick to mostly nigiri. My favorite bites? First is the salmon nigiri, which they brush with tamari. Second is the madai (sea bream) nigiri, which has lemon zest, and I think they brush it with a little extra virgin olive oil. That said, there wasn’t a single bad bite, so really all of them were my favorite. We finished with the banana cake paired with a chicory caramel. It’s divine and has inspired my next upside-down cake! I’m going to attempt a banana + chicory upside-down cake, and I’m very excited.
All in all, it was a great day filled with so much delicious food.
For now, let’s get into some recipes to inspire your meal plans for the week.
