Happy Sunday. Today, I am in your inbox with recipes readers love.
Weekend Update
This weekend has been super busy. I hoped to post some new recipes, but no such luck. I’ll share new recipes soon, though! I went to Ananda in Maple Lawn on Friday and had an incredible Indian dinner. The highlight of the meal was the samosa chaat and the rasmalai cake. Everything we had was delicious!
I’m working on Valentine’s Day recipes, and I worked on perfecting them this weekend. The first is my white chocolate mousse with macerated raspberries and homemade meringues. How beautiful is this dessert? It’s perfect for a Valentine’s Day dinner at home!
I’m also preparing for a Galentine’s Dinner on February 13th. It’s combined with a going-away party for one of our local Pilates instructors, who is moving to Spain at the end of February. P.S. She will start offering her classes remotely, so if you’ve considered trying Pilates, I can strongly recommend her virtual classes! You can learn more by subscribing to her Substack at ! Ania is an amazing instructor, and this is a great way to try out her classes from the comfort of your home.
Let’s get into some recipes. Thank you so much to everyone who commented on my recipes recently; I truly love hearing from you. It gives so much more meaning to my work when I hear how my recipes turn out in your kitchen. THANK YOU.
READER FAVES
Spicy Shredded Duck Tacos
Thank you so much for the comment, Mike! Thrilled that these tacos were a hit with your family!
Seared Pork Tenderloin Salad
Thank you, Hanna! This is such a great dinner party recipe. Creamy mozzarella, sweet roasted carrots, juicy pork, and a mustardy dressing work beautifully together! I’m so happy this was a hit with your guests.
Spicy Vegan Risotto
Thank you, Thorn! This risotto is spiced with aji amarillo paste, which gives it a nice, lingering heat.
Creamy Broccoli Pasta
I’m so happy you loved this one, Madeleine! It would definitely be delicious with sausage, too! YUM!
Never Fail Rolls
Thank you so much for the comment, Joan! I’m so happy these were a hit and a great point about not letting the water cook the egg! If you haven’t made these Never Fail Rolls, I strongly encourage you to try them! I made them last week, and they were gone in, like, 24 hours. They get devoured FAST!
Wine-Braised Beef Short Ribs
I’m so happy you enjoyed the rolls with these wine-braised short ribs, Joan! What a comforting, special dinner. Delicious!
Buffalo Chicken Tenders
Thank you, VCS! You must have read my mind because I’m making this for tonight’s Buffalo Game! Along with my Baked Crab Balls for the Ravens, of course!
Vegan Buffalo Tofu Bites
I’m so happy my spicy game-day snacks have been a hit with readers! I love these Buffalo tofu bites as much as the chicken tenders. So easy to make and so delicious!
One-Pot Sausage and Orzo
This is such a nice, comforting winter dinner. The sausage and parsnips make it extra hearty, and the whipped ricotta gives it just the right amount of decadence.
Shrimp and Pearl Couscous
Thank you for rating the recipe, Mario! Love when a recipe is a 5-star dinner for readers, and this is one of my go-to meals when I want to impress!
That’s it for today. Keep an eye out for new Valentine’s Day recipes SOON. I hope everyone has a great week ahead filled with lots of tasty food. If you make one of my recipes, please drop a comment on the post to let me know how it turns out; I’d love to hear from you. Byeeeeeeee! 💖💖
